Philippe Petit

29.99 GBP

Philippe Petit illustration celebrating the 1974 wirewalk across the twin towers in New York City. After years of planning, and previous walks across the Sydney Opera House and the Notre Dame Cathedral, he pulled it off against all the odds. The towers are made up of Philippe's words describing his first step on the wire to the final moments where he stepped off into the arms of waiting police officers. Taken from the book, 'To reach the clouds'.
